Manual AI news monitoring has been replaced entirely. The digest runs without any input and consistently surfaces high-quality, relevant content across all five categories. It has been running live on a schedule since April 2026.
The Outcome
A scheduled automation that pulls RSS feeds across five AI-focused categories, merges and deduplicates articles, then runs a two-pass Claude architecture. In the first pass, Claude scores each article individually for relevance and quality. In the second pass, Claude synthesizes the top results into a structured digest. The final output is a formatted HTML email delivered to my inbox every Monday and Thursday at 7am Eastern.
What I Built
Staying current on AI developments across technology, business, policy, research, and industry practice requires monitoring dozens of sources daily. Manual monitoring is time-consuming, inconsistent, and easy to deprioritize when other work takes over.
